Coronavirus Update

18th March 2020

Following advice from the British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions – the body for all the major attractions in the UK – The BIG Sheep will remain open until further information changes the situation.

As a family attraction we already actively encourage regular hand washing which is the key to avoid contracting Coronavirus.

We are open as normal; if you feel happy and safe to visit us, we will be more than happy to welcome you. We of course encourage all visitors to follow the personal hygiene government advice to protect yourself and others:

• Always carry tissues with you

• Use tissues to catch your cough or sneeze

• Bin the tissue, and to kill the germs, wash your hands with soap and water

This is the best way to slow the spread of almost any germs, including Coronavirus.

Within our farm we have issued employee guidelines and increased how often we wash objects which get frequent hand contact; however, we shall continue to monitor the advice from Public Health England and our local health authority.

Unfortunately, in light of the recent Government guidelines regarding large gatherings, we have taken the decision to postpone some of our upcoming events. This includes our Easter Toddler Takeover days, KAPOW Wrestling and Fight Night, and our Mind, Body and Soul event.

We will be contacting everyone who has booked tickets for the above events with further information, so please bear with us.
